Get involved
Volunteering
Our HelpLine and DropIn services are staffed entirely by highly trained and professionally supervised volunteers. All are committed to offering high quality, safe and confidential services to the women who contact us. If you are interested in volunteering for Survivors' Network, please get in touch with us.
Job Vacancies
We are currently recruiting for female Trustees to join our management commitee and for female volunteers to work on our services. If you would like to be a Trustee and can share 2 hours a month then please get in touch.
If you have an interest in supporting vulnerable women and can spare a couple of hours twice a month to work on our services, please contact the office for an application pack. Our next training course is taking place in mid-January so get in touch with us now and become part of our team.
Fundraising
We need your help...
Survivors' Network is a small charity, relying entirely on donations and grants. The services we offer are essential to women survivors and a lifeline to many of our service users.
Survivors' Network is grant aided by Brighton & Hove City Council, however extra funding is crucial to continue offering our services. All donations are very valuable, and are put to use providing and maintaining these essential services.
If you would like to support Survivors' Network and the important work we do, please see our donate page or contact our office. You can also donate or set up an event at www.everyclick.com/survivorsnetwork. Your support is vital.
Events
Events are a great way to raise awareness and funds for Survivors' Network. Events in the past have included concerts, plays, cabarets, cake sales, pub-crawls, sponsored events and dress-down days, and we're open to more suggestions!
Contact the office if you'd like to involve us in an event you are planning, we'd love to hear from you.
Evaluation
Survivors' Network needs to know how it can help service users more effectively. We value your feedback and suggestions, as this helps us to develop services to meet your needs. Anonymous evaluation questionnaires are available from the DropIn, Survivors' Network office and are periodically included in the SpeakOut newsletter.
