About Survivors' Network

Survivors' Network was established in 1990 by the female survivors of childhood sexual abuse to provide services that would support other female survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We’ve grown from those humble beginnings to an organisation that now offers a range of professional relevant services to all women aged 14 + who have experienced any form of sexual violence.

We treat every woman we work with as an individual. We trust in our clients and believe strongly that she is the expert in her experiences and situation. We try to provide options allow women to make the choices that are right for them. We work within a human rights and equal opportunities framework to empower our clients and restore her control of her life, her healing and her situation.

We are contacted by approximately 1000 women every year but the number is growing year on year. Between 2007/08 and 2008/09 we saw a 27% increase in the number of women accessing our services.
